Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need the Raizes Player?
Yes — Lyra is a Raizes instrument and requires the free Raizes Player to run. Download Raizes Player once and all your Raizes instruments load inside it.
How do I install Lyra after purchasing?
Open Raizes Player, sign in with your ZAK Sound account, and Lyra will appear in your library ready to download — one click, no separate installer.
What does "vocal-hybrid wavetable" mean?
Lyra's wavetables are built from real vocal recordings that have been deeply processed and morphed into synthesis material. The result sits between a choir/voice instrument and a synth pad — organic and evolving, but fully controllable.
Is Lyra good for ambient and cinematic music?
Yes — Lyra excels at ethereal pads, evolving textures, and atmospheric beds. It works well for ambient, cinematic, meditation, and experimental music.
Can I use it in commercial projects?

Is it compatible with my DAW?
Raizes works as VST3 (Windows & macOS) and AU (macOS) in all major DAWs including FL Studio, Ableton, Logic, Studio One, Reaper, Cubase, and Bitwig. AAX (Pro Tools) is not currently supported.
